Galvanized wire is also known as white wire, which is obtained by galvanizing black wire.
The chemical galvanizing process makes the wire resistant to rust, corrosion, and oxidation. This makes the product highly durable and can be used in all weather conditions.
In the process of making galvanized wire, oxide-free steel is immersed in a molten zinc tank, and a protective coating layer is created on the surface of the wire.
The coating layer contains an alloy that increases the wire’s resistance to rust and corrosion.
Wire, which has high tensile strength, also has great flexibility.

To prepare this product, it can be heated and softened in an annealing furnace, or it can be done in an in-line furnace. Generally, the hot dip galvanized wire operation occurs at a temperature of about 880-900 degrees Fahrenheit. This stage of galvanizing is called annealing.
After the annealing stage, the hot black wire is passed through an acid bath. This stage is called acid pickling and is done for the purpose of deoxidation
In this stage, the wire undergoes a water washing step and is then passed through a flex basin. The reason for this is that the basin contains materials that prepare the wire for further absorption of zinc metal, in fact facilitating the galvanization process, and is finally passed through a dryer.
The wire then passes through a molten zinc furnace. The excess melt is then collected from the surface of the wire.
The wire is cooled by a water and air cooling system.
The hot-dip galvanized wire is collected by a collecting system. This system has three modes: normal, butterfly, and horizontal side-by-side.
